First Annual National Healthcare Diversity Leadership Summit
Nationwide healthcare reform has challenged the industry to figure out how to best provide affordable, high-quality preventative care to the influx of Americans who now demand it. Legislative, regulatory, and policy changes, as well as, shifting demographics have driven the need for immediate transformation in the healthcare industry. The clock is ticking…
Carolinas HealthCare System and DiversityMBA are partnering to present the First Annual National Healthcare Diversity Leadership Summit on March 24, 2015, bringing together industry leaders from all healthcare sectors to commence a comprehensive dialogue on the importance of integrating into healthcare reform practice provisions addressing the elimination of health disparities, promotion of culturally competent care delivery, and innovative quality improvement strategies. Attendees will address how to leverage transformative leadership and cultural competence to develop a more affordable, fully-integrated, patient-centered approach to healthcare.
Carolinas HealthCare System is one of the largest, most innovative public, not-for-profit healthcare systems in the country, providing a full spectrum of care and wellness programs throughout North and South Carolina and Georgia. Operating as a fully integrated system and connecting care delivery throughout the Carolinas, our overarching goal is to provide seamless access to coordinated, high-quality healthcare closer to where our patients live.
DiversityMBA and its proprietary benchmarking tool, the Inclusive Leadership Index, gives partners visibility to their own diversity and inclusion data around recruitment, talent management, performance management, succession planning, and executive accountability. The Inclusive Leadership Index also allows healthcare industry partners to look at similar data across their industry and understand relevant trends and outcomes.
The First Annual National Healthcare Diversity Leadership Summit is a prime opportunity for any member of the healthcare community – hospital and health systems, medical groups, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, medical colleges and universities – to proactively participate in driving systemic and sustainable inclusive leadership for the healthcare industry.
