A prominent media and public-relations professional with nearly three decades of experience in journalism, public relations, civil rights and business, Jerry has served as senior advisor, spokesman and strategist for Rev. Jesse L. Jackson Sr. and the Rainbow PUSH Coalition and Citizenship Education Fund. He has also served in strategic and leadership positions for the National Black MBA Association; the National Baptist Convention of America; Tyson Foods; The HistoryMakers; The Cancer Treatment Centers of America; Bennett College; Touro Osteopathic School of Medicine; The Virgin Islands Department of Health; Schneider Regional Medical Center; Bethany Advocate Hospital ; The North Carolina Health Center Association; The Southern Christian Leadership Conference; Bethune-Cookman University; Pine Forge Academy, and several public school systems. Jerry is a former reporter for the Boston Globe, the Chicago Tribune, the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle and the Newark Star-Ledger.
